How long before I get on my new TN single turbo??????
I spoke with a nissan tech and he recommends staying off of WOT until 500 miles have passed
, what is everyone's opinion, especially those with experience, and I also have an exhaust leak somewhere, where would the most obvious spots be at? All advice will help

Unless you put this kit on a brand new motor, there is no reason to wait 500miles. You do want to insure you are leak free, and everything is correct in terms of install and tuning. But once that is complete, and you feel comfortable with the install and tune...let it rip!
Weather is sort of bad though, so I will go easy on it if I get it back today, also do you have any idea where common exhaust leaks are with this kit? sounds kind of close to the engine bay. One more thing, what a/f should the car be at, when the car is at idle?
A/F with the car at idle should be between 15:1-14:1 it might fluctuate a bit but ideally it should be at 14.7:1 with 11:1 or lower under boost. As for waiting 500 hundred miles I think thats drastic. The turbo is tested on the VSR machine for balance and spun to 50k+ RPMs and check for oil consumption so the turbo is ready to rock. Again make sure all the clamps are tight and ensure you are seeing 20hg of vacuum at idle. Also double check the AFR but besides that you should be good to go. If there is a leak check the vbands under the car. It might not be tight enough.
Sounds good, take in mind the car hasn't been cranked in over 2 weeks, don't know how pertinent that info is but there it is anyway. Also, when it first was cranked, the car went all the way to 18:1 at idle backed down and fluctuated between 15.5-17.3:1, idle was about 1250, when it dropped back to 950, the car ran hot, low coolant, and since the car hasn't been cranked. At idle the car is at 20 hg though, and when I revved the car it went to 10:1 according to the UEGO AEM A/F. Reggie said to listen for detonation to be safe, he described as a sound similar to popcorn popping, what is your take?

What about the popcorn sound? I have a sound at idle. Not quite popcorn though. Just sounds like oil dripping into the pan like when the car is shut off. I wasn't worried because it also does it when I shut the car off. I'm good right????

It's more like a "tink tink" sound. It sounds exactly like a car sounds after you shut it off and the oil is dropping back into the pan. I wonder if it's because of my AAM spacer and return line?

u might however want to double check your i/c pipes and the tq on your manifold/turbo after about a week of driving just to make sure everything stays tight. after a few heat cycles some of the bolts may get a littl loose. the i/c pipes need to be constantly checked every once in a while for leaks as well.
