as i sit here with my head in my hands laughing, i wonder how in the world did i miss this thread! i have been on the road for a few hours. (remember im smiling this entire time as i write this reply)
you guys are a riot. D350Z, when were we talking about which kit was better?
ill be truthful, i would definitely rock the TN kit, if they would have had it out for the G when i decided to get back in the FI game. i didnt like the G kit with the fans on the IC, oh yeah and i dont like the thought of blowing my motor so the TN was out. plus i dont like gambling so the TS thing was not appealing.
now yes. the aps kit had a few minor problems, the oil in the IC, i did realize tho that the oil lubricated the ait in a sense, causing more air to reach the TB for better results, it also caused the car to run a little richer, since oil is closely related to gas, it was kind of like adding fuel to the inlet charge.
oh yeah, and lets not forget the smoke issue, although i never had that problem, once APS told me the right way to hook up the sump pump.
my main problem was the boost drop but, hey even with the boost drop, i was able to smoke a TN car at the track, by smoke i dont mean smokescreen. right
john! i wasnt even hittin 6 psi that day.
nah, its all in good fun, all you bada55 TN guys wait till i get my boost problem fixed, its ON!!
