As most of you know I am also having the uncontrollable boost issue due to my RS*R exhaust. So anyways I got my car back and its not what I expected but anyways still very happy. My car with the TN and UTEC, MAP sensor, and TUNER PRO produced 364 rwhp and 365 rwt not what you would expect but for the boost spike issue perfect. Sam over at GT Motorsports tuned my car as safe as possible adjusting the AFR according to my boost issues. He said there was much room for more but my car is in no condition to handle it my boost spikes up nearly 90% of the time. Well anyways I am not worried because in a couple of weeks I am due back for the Turbosmart 48mm wastegate like JetPilots, also for my methanol injection kit. One thing that might cause a little war Sam mostly does APS TT and ST and he said installing a APS st is way to much fabrication and is definately not a bolt on kit and that the TN feels much more responsive.
Even in my cars state. Well anyways the way I can tell I am boosting so much is cause on WOT my UTEC for safety reasons cuts off power on a boost spike quite often. Also with the power I am producing I get very good traction in 2nd gear 1st is a different story. I cant wait till I my wastegate done so I can up the HP.
Well here is the DYNO PICS notice the ups and down on the curve due to the BOOST spikes

And here are just some of the pics I took during my install (im a messy mechanic)

Nope I am using RC 650cc injectors, colder Ngk spark plugs
I sure will post once I get it done will be in a couple weeks
Ask Sam if he played with the knock threshold (sensitivity to knock). When tuning the UTEC's, I found that the knock sensitivity needs to be reduced a tad, or it picks up various engine noises, and retards timing. He can also play with the level of ignition retard, and the number of knock counts before correcting. That could be a source of the slightly lower power numbers. The great thing about the UTEC logger, is the tuner can see the actual ignition timing, and potential knock events, with very fine precision.
Actually, I just looked at your dyno chart, and there is definately too little timing up top, based on that steep drop-off in power towards redline. Looks you are hitting power peak at 5600rpm only.
yeah i don't like how power falls WAY off after 5200rpm.....something's not right up top...definitely the wastegate. However, I think a 48mm gate won't be the best idea. Something smaller like a 35mm, especially if you plan on upping the boost, IMO, is better suited.
