That is definitely BS. I have a full built engine running 11psi with my Vortech and getting 475 rwhp and 380 tq. They would have to be running massive boost to get a hundred rwhp more than me.

Not true. After my next round of mods I should be over 570 crank HP. There is more HP loss from crank to wheels with a SC than a TT. I am no math wizard, but I am probably close to 550 crank HP right now.

it's because superchargers can't cross the 475whp barrier no matter what custom work is done to them... even though 475whp is more than 510 crank hp

aside from you guys ^^ being jerks, what people are saying is, it's quite easy to claim any kind of horsepower, but without proof (especially for numbers like those), it's perfectly legit to doubt the claims.

And since there are no forms of proof, there's no actual merit to his claim to believe it.

Since we're on claims without proof, my Z with I/H/plenum made 292rwhp and 302 ft-lbs.

No. I am working on it (ran out of money) and booger is tuning his Vortech for around 16psi @ 7,000rpms. I believe his car will be done in the next month or so and should be putting down pretty good numbers.

FYI: Regarding your earlier question about Mustangs... simple bolt-ons as well as FI yield much greater gains with V8's than with V6's, at least with cars like Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes, etc. Possibly with other V8's as well.

nice. Who knows though, I wouldn't be suprised if people will still end up calling BS even with dyno sheets. There's some hardcore naysayers about SC power on Z's

If we are talking 570 rwhp, I wouldn't say anyone is close. I just know how much money and time both Bill (booger) and I have invested in our cars and we are still not there.

And of course without some sort of proof or specifications it is hard to believe claims.

Dsport Mag has sent a G35 to Vortech to get a custom set up to make big hp from the [ T-trim and a all cog belt pulley system ] Derek said he isnt sure what they will come up with . When Im done [ in a month or so ] I'll post up what I ended up with on a Mustang dyno and then go find a DynoJet to compare the two.
