Default FI w/AT

ok heres the deal i have an auto tranny, but i wanna go FI eventually (so im make all my mods now compatable with FI applications)

my question is who has the 5AT and some sort of FI and what problems have you encountered? how have you fixed them, and what would you recommend for those people who will be in your shoes eventually?

(i did read the thread about turbo/5at tranny but im still curious)

I think most folks agreed that Superchargers seem to work better on the 5AT?

I have been in hos position when i first started. The only thing im going to say is get whichever system you want TT, ST, or SC. Now you should not push the AT tranny past 400 RWHP if its not a daily driver if its a daily driver have it around 360 RWHP.

If you put a Torque Converter and a Valve body you can push it past 400 rwhp Daily driven or not. But dont go so far becouse your engine doesnt have internals so you will have to stay around the 450RWHP mark.

Guys if im wrong in anything correct me please

GReddy TT with 2005 5AT putting down 400rwhp; no problems to date with 2k miles. It is no longer a daily driver though. Give Sharif at Forged Internals a call and he can help. He has tuned several 5AT cars with FI and knows the particulars.

Good luck,
Ron
