Hey guys,...kinda new to this board,...and i did sum research but i can't find what im lookin for...i have an A/T 04 tourning Z,...i have an AEM intake and HKS exhuast on bak order,...thing is....i wanna make my Z faster...should i do headers,plenium? or just go straight to F/I? remember my car is an A/T and if i do F/I...what would u recommend and whats the best out their,...overall on HP,reliability? please help me out.. thanks

Your AT will be fine with either turbo or supercharge.

 

i was lookin at Vortech or ATI...idk whats a good one to stick wit, all i want is decent hp around 375rwhp and somthing thas reliable so i dont have to worry about blowing up my engine....thas the last thing i wana do....i was lookin to spend around 10g's all 2gether...

 

On the Vortech site, it states that it is only available for manual cars. I'm really interested in this thread because i'm in the same position.( FI vs. NA)

 

Id do an ATI kit if I had an auto. The lack of TQ compared to turbo Z"s will help the tranny live longer. And properly tuned there has been an auto with 360whp running 12.3 @ 113-that should be MUCH quicker than your current set-up.

 

They all fit either on the AT or the manual it just says that becouse thats the car they used to design the kit.

oh not badd....just called Vortech..seems their stuff is good...i like the hp increase and what not but i still worry about my engine blown on me...is their ne one out their who can guide me?? kinda stuck...ATI looks good but so does Vortech...main thing is my engine...

 

both kits are good and very powerful........my only complaint on the ATI is its belts( VER VERY LOUD noise)that thing is too dam noisy

its hard to compare my rides in a vortech z to a ati z since the ati was gutted for race setup..........but both are mean *** beast
