Default Stock Manifold over heating with turbo

I am ready to purchase a turbnetics st, but was informed by the salesman that the stock Z manifold may eventually have issues with the increased heat.
He recommended the Greddy TT kit. I did a little research and found out that he would make more money off me by selling me the turbonetics kit, since Greddy just upped the price.

Does anyone know of issues with the stock manifolds?

Naw. Cast and steel have proven to be very structurally sound even at high EGT's.

sounds like he is a rep for greddy and is just trying to make a sale. the only proplem with the greddy kit is that they are other things you may have to buy to make this kit complete you might want to take a look at AAM they no there greddy stuff well
