Initial Dyno Results
Could not get a copy of the sheet reflecting 348whp.... This is the pull before; tech let go early around 6100 6200...
Any way it shows a wall of instant tq... System needs exhaust so it can open up at top!!!

A year ago Jason from MRC Dyno'd the first APS TT kit in the country with test pipes and Borla TD Exhaust... And it dyno'd @ 388whp 8psi Just to give you some kind of scale... But that was over a year ago.... Nov/Dec of 04

I hate to talk about comparing dyno's again... But normally, yes, Load based dyno's would net lower numbers than a Dyno Jet.. However, I dyno'd my car after this on a DynoJet w the same mods and only saw 352whp... and left with 403 after i raised the boost and tuned... So this just shows how off dyno's are to each other... All I would really care to see is what you gain after tuning and doing other mods, rather than what your peak compares to others!! Allthough it would be interesting to see what your car does on our Dyno Dynamics dyno in a few weeks... And I would love to see what you trap in the 1/4.. I have been trapping about 120 with my 3600lb car..See you at the Track and hope you enjoy your decision!

Yea I took my time with my FI purchase, I could not do it last year do to financial reasons (10K is alot of money to some people)... I ordered an APS kit in the late summer of 05 (PM was installing it); that Blew UP
( I won't go into details )... So back to the drawing board... In the fall I had an oppurtunity to get a JWT TT kit so I did. And so far I've been real happy
My spacer as per Tony from Motordyne should be shipped out next Wed. My exhaust as per Mike from AAM should ship out this week... and my test pipes are already @ the shop... Just playing the waiting game, it's ok it's winter (best time to have some down time) The car should be buttoned by late Winter early spring... For now we will be sticking to the base tune from JWT. That will change...

Rob, you sure you want to go with Injen's new exhaust? I used to own the old straight tip model, and thankfully got rid of it until I find something else. Anyway--let me know your thoughts on this..there other exhausts I would personally recommend based on your needs.
Custom SFR setup comes to mind..maybe the HKS dual Ti...I would say there are better options out there.

I did kill my Injen Order, cause sometime in the future I'll be putting in a Motor....
I ordered the AAM 3" Dual it has large resonators... Which was key for me.
Mike says it will go out this week, it should show up next week @ Performance...
I was considering the SFR, I herd it was wicked loud! I don't want to revisit my 5.0 days with an H-pipe 2 chamber flowmasters and 3:73 gears

We are all proud Z owners and drivers here... It was fine that you posted my dyno #'s... I was just making a comparisant about how dyno's vary form dyno to dyno and that they should be used what they were built for... As a tool for tuning... Hopefully you will make it down to our open house in the spring!!

The car pulls instantly; originally it was too cold in the North East for me to get a good feel for the car… Last week we had some very good weather, Needless to say I took some time off from work and really got on the car… It is awesome!
However I’m running TT’s on a bone stock Z…. It needs exhaust!!!! I’ll have the exhaust issue taken car of in a few weeks…. At least we know that the JWT TT kit on a bone stock Z is good for 348whp and 349wtq on a Mustang MD Dyno! Another PM customer on this forum produced 413whp with Injen SES1985 exhaust and test pipes on the same Dyno; both cars running @ 6.8psi!!!
My immediate future mods are… New Injen 2.5” True Dual with Ti Tips (on Order) / Motordyne 5/16” Spacer (on Order) / 2.5” resonated test pipe (put aside)
Long term Future mods: VTR motor…. VTR as in (Vinny Ten Racing)

Looks awesome!. I have a superblack 03 Touring. I was out @ PM last year. I drove their Vortech Z (pretty quick) and spoke with the guys in the shop and Salespeople, but made the decision to hold off. Now you got me thinking again!! I might have to take another trip over there.

I know, I know.... It's a planned mod for the future... More for safty... Not sure how much power I want... When I get my exhaust and spacer put in, I want to take you for a ride...

Rob, can you comment on the safety of your setup? I know this is a function of installation, tune, boost etc etc, but your comments are welcome.
