Default Project 350z rehabilitation-fixing the wounds

MODS: please don't move this, I would like to keep evrybody updated with the process of repairing previous owner zraygo's car... all the FI guys know this car very well, so i'm sure you would appreciate a progress report, with lots of pics

First off...my plan for the car (keep this in mind people intersested in a ready to go built monster):-bring the car back to 100% perfect condition
-restore oem bumper/ sideskirts/ rear (don't argue- this was the best plan for now)
-sell this car to a very lucky buyer..not certain on final selling price...will post on e-bay when close to being done...
if anybody interested in this car when fully repaired, pm me

facts about this car:
scary accident, lucklily, fairly minor damage:
control arms and tie rods front left and rear left damaged..front left shock bent, front left and rear left rim bent... body damage, scratches, etc...
from the looks of the car now, nothing severe that can't be fixed 100%!!!

car was delivered here this past Friday (3 days ago):
because of the damage to the driver side wheels and suspension, the car was not able to roll, moving this thing was a PITA...

damage was limited to the aluminum control arms...the connection points to the car were perfect

apparently these cars are built well...the aluminum suspension components will typically break in a collision, sparing the frame and connecting points from more severe damage:

tein shock will have to be replaced:

these steel pieces from the rear bent and took absorbed a great deal of the impact...

after i stripped off the front fenders...very little damage behind these..just from the tire rubbing a bit:

will need some new rims and tires as well

some of the damaged, removed parts

ryan, from the body shop next door, here inspecting the frame..he will take several measurements tomorrow to find out if the fame was affected at all..his conclusion from his 30 minutes of close suspension...the car will be 100% fixable

hope you enjoyed the update...i'll be gathering parts and get this thing back together, thaen off to the body shop for a facelift..expect this car to be available for purchase by march 2006..pm me if interested!!!...

oh yeah... this car has a clean title and I am looking for reasonable offers only
list of mods:
Complete TEIN Coilover setup w/ EDFC (not damaged)
19x8.5 (F) 19x9.5(R) VOLK GTC’s gun metal (driver side rims are heavily damaged)
Greddy Profec E01
Defi boost, and EGT gauges with pillar
Nismo titanium shift ***
Fully built VQ35DET (sleeved by AEBS, XTPRO 8.5:1 pistons, JWT CAMS, Crower Rods, RC 750cc injectors, return fuel system designed by XS Engineering. JWT Clutch, JWT Flywheel.

Engine has been tuned to 505hp at 1bar. Tuning was done by Sam at GT Motorsports in Rancho Cucamunga (you can call him to verify, but I do have a dyno sheet for proof).
Any questions, please pm me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Im glad that you bought the car. It was the hardest thing to do, like giving one of my kids up for adoption. I know this car would get a great home. When the car is done peeps, be afraid, be very afraid. Todd, I put you up there with Shariff Abdulbaset, you are a great friend both trust worthy and true to your word. Good luck with the project...

Oh yea, in the immortal words of the Terminator......

depending on what direction i go with this..i will probably install a brand new big brake kit...4 new tires, new, excellent paint job...and make sure it is in 100% perfect condition (this will take some money on my part)...and possibly install an emanage ultimate and tune it to two boost settings: 500wheel and 620wheel

i'll be looking to get 45k for all of the above

pm me for details

I'd suggest Performance Nissan or 350Evo Front A-Arms, SPC Rear Camber arms and Toe bolts..... that'll be good for a perfect alignment for about 2.5" of drop.

...oddly enough ... I am selling that stuff

Hey Ray, Chris from Brainstorm here. I worked with Roshan back when we were going to do some tuning for you. I'm glad to see you're okay. I heard about what happened a little while ago, but I don't think I have your number. Anyways, good luck on the project 350zDCalb. You're definitely working with one of the coolest Z's we've seen on our lot
