I have been to Z1 a couple of times, and heard stories (guys are not bad, but hell they didn't make me feel to confident and the dyno day I went to def. had me shaking my head). I have also visited many of the other shops in GA, though most deal mostly with the more common cars (Honda/Acura, Mitsu, Subaru, etc)... Z/G35 is not as common here... Maybe yet.

Yet I still am more than willing to drive to NC for Sharif@Forged and Carolina Performance Racing and I am not the only one. Just for a example someone got their Vortech installed and tune'd... Then opts not to go back to Z1... Instead drives to NC for Sharif and Eric. Goes to show I guess.

Sharif and Eric far outshadow any of the local shops with their experience and knowledge on the 350Z.

Talking to me folk, yeah no problem maybe you can hit on the regular meets I go to... Good mature people (different kinds of cars), usually go out like on Thursday or Sunday nights like to have dinner together and stuff.

Oh and I am south of Atlanta in Clayton County, where are you located? Oh and we have meets mostly on the Northside or in Atlanta like at Atlantic Station.

There are many ricers, punks, thugs, wanna be's here... So one should feel lucky when you find good people who are car enthusiasts, and not kids who think street racing is cool with their ****ty cars haha.

Anyway so you are up on I-75, pretty much up there... Well it will be like a month for me to get a new clutch along with a new tune... So after that I will pm you with some info on a meet, try to have it in Marietta that way it is still ok for the rest of us to drive and easy for you just going southbound on 75.

That would be nice. Z's instead of civics, although there are some serious civics up here, but mostly high revving bumblebees/weedeaters. One kid just ran 7 flat in the 1/8 th. Please do PM me, when you have a meet on a weekend sometime.

But given the circumstances, coming from New Orleans, I would go elsewhere too.

Well I didn't mean to give you the wrong idea... I have only met a couple of other members of this site over the last year... And not meet up with them consistantly...

The friends I do hang out with own Civic's/RSX's/S2000/EVO/etc, but they keep them clean and are mature fun loving folks.

I will PM you, I will plan something after next month and I will get new tires too lol.

I think sleeving the block and a stroker kit could be considered a slight overkill for your application. We have built VQ engines available on a core exchange basis and can provide references of satisfied high boosted customers.
