check engine oil regularly. the harder you drive, the more blow-back will occur, especially with this VQ, which seems is notorious for blow back. if u have a catchcan, then check often/clean.

I used only Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 10w-30, changed every 3500 mi with a nissan shorty oil filter.

i run one step colder plug NGK plats. i havent changed them yet since my turbo install (about... 15k ago) but i do check them to see how they're holding up, about every 6k or so.

Default TT maintainance

I'm old-school and change my 10-40 oil every 3K. I don't see the point of using synthetic when dino is being changed-out so regularly. I'm running one step colder copper plugs. There have been some in-depth discussions about which plug to use, and I opted to avoid the "glow-plug" affect associated with platinum or irridium plugs since I obviously want to avoid detonation.

A good idea is to let the car idle a bit before shutting it off. Those turbos are spinning high RPM's thus it just prolongs the use of them.

a good bit of advise even if you don't have a TT setup. That said, on turbos that are both oil lube and WATER cooled, you don't have to be as cautious about cool down.

I run Mobil 1 5w30 SuperSyn and use the Mobil M1-105 oil filter. Its double the size of the stock oil filter, but it fits and works perfectly. I change it every 3K miles or so.

I use the 1 step colder copper spark plugs. And I also have a Greddy Turbo Timer. Easy to set, and it does the car good. Keeps the car at idle when I take the keys out, and shuts the car off after a short while.

Amsoil 10w30 and change filter every 2500 miles. run the oil maybe 5000-7500 depending on how it looks. You just need to be carefull about how dirty the oil gets.

Oil/Filter-Change every 2500-3000
SparkPlugs-same ones with APS kit
Warm-up I let it idle until it gets to 850rpms about 3mins every single morning
Shut down- I baby the car the last 1-2 min. before shutdown and give it about 3 lil revs, then 10seconds idle before shutting down.
Gas-Always mix at least 6gal 100oct
Miles on kit-23000
Years on kit- 1yr installed Jan.05

I get the oil filter at Auto Zone. Not every Auto Zone carries it, but most do. I'm not sure about the alarm, because I still have the stock alarm, and don't have any problems there. I will be putting a aftermarket alarm soon, so I'll let you know once I put it on, but I don't think I'll have any problems.
