Really! How does it sound compared to your previous 2.5" exhaust (if you can remember)? Much louder?

My old exhuast was a 3.0 inch setup with HKS mufflers. THe AAM setup is at least 30% quieter, and not nearly as boomy. My original setup was pretty loud for daily freeway usage.

Failsafe, the flex join has a larger outer diameter, but the inner diameter, and all of the piping is 3 inch. There are no 2.5 inch internal diameter areas on the AAM system. Its a true dual 3 inch without any exceptions.
Oops, thanks for the clarification - definately looking foward to some sound clips

way to use the forum brosif...

Depends on whether car has stock cats or not....with stock cats I personally think is bearable for most...with LTH or test pipes it might become a little loud for a daily.
