Default APS Single turbo

I really don't know a lot about FI, but thinking bout crossing over to the darkside. What all will I need to purchase beside just the kit? How much am I looking at for installation of this kit, and any reccomendations for shops in OKC/Dallas areas?

Thanks everyone!!

I think you should go with APS only if you have it installed and tuned by an authorized dealer.

Installation will be about $1700 total with gauges, new plugs, and fluids. Go APS...the problems have been sorted out by now. I had one problem with mine and APS found the faulty check valves and rectified the issue. Don't dare go TN unless you go upgrade to a different EMT...then your definitely in for a headache..unless of course your keeping everything else stock(exhaust, plenum and other supporting mods)

The only thing I was thinking about was of course Flywheel and clutch, plenum, and really not sure what else (already have GREDDY EVO II)

I had the Greddy EVO 2 as well. Make sure you get a good shop to fabricate the piping otherwise your boost won't hold well. GRD did a great job with mine and it held really good all the way to redline..

IMO do a TN tuner kit with a UTEC or EMU, 440 or 550cc injectors, Walbro pump, oil pan spacer and fuel system of your choice. It would be the same or little more than an APS ST kit, but would easily outperfom it and you dont have to worry about finding a unichip tuner.

Hey.... I am pushing the boundaries so all you other noobs can go fast by copying my mods. Problems will arrise when pushing boundaries.... look how many peopel died before Chuck Yeager broke the 55mph speed limit. Experimenting is a dangerous business and some parts will be hurt.

This is a good route to go as well....the only problem is your gonna have to piece this together and do it on your own. I personally feel more comfortable getting the setup that has already been put together for the consumers(and has been tested) rather than mixing and matching. The APS will include everything you need without purchasing third party components. I'd highly recommend you do your research before getting involved in this..there are several routes to go. If you want a kit that has everything already then just get the APS and call it a day.

Ands that why rather then gettin the tuner kit you could get the Turbonetics Stage 1.5 complete kit. Comes with a fuel return system, tuneable EMS, 550cc injectors, and will easily make 450 RWHP...

Cool...didn't realized it was out yet. I'm sure that would be a great way to go as well
