Default another TT question thread......

hey all,

After two years off going back and forth on whether or not to get a tt I finally saw a great deal, and couldn't resist. I have a question on the e-manage.....why would I want to buy an e-manage ultimate? How about a fuel return system, is it necessary when tuning to appx 450? will the new greddy waste gate relocation kit make installation any easier? Thanks......

Actually you want to buy a UTEC, once all the harnesses are bought for EU, its very close to UTEC price-wise. People who tuned both are praising the utec more. Also the UTEC does not have a history of frying the coil packs if the key is left in ignition for too long without actually starting the car.
The stock fuel system cannot keep the fuel pressure high enough during high rpm when the car is FI'd. Anything over 8 PSI requires a fuel return system. At below, it's recommended, but not required. Upgraded pump and injectors should probably be fine. I am not too sure that 440cc injectors are ideal (although they are adquate) for 450 whp though... I think 550 would be better...
You don't need to relocate the wastegates, but you do need to add a BOV.
Hope this helps...

Greddys emanage ult, ive had some problems, like frying coils and ecu's. Took it off, sent it back to greddy. Others have had good luck with it
The UTEC is good from what i hear, but that just it..alot of it is word of mouth, and things can change from person to person. I havent seen it yet.
HKS Fcon Vpro, is the best available right now, its pretty much a stand-alone, now the thing....its pretty expensive, and only some shops can tune it "pro tuners" I believe most of SGP's 600hp Z run a Vpro, and Jotech built Z runs a vpro, i run a vpro, im a Pro *****.
