I like the turbonetics setup myself! Twin turbo is sort of a waste unless you plan to build the motor too so you can really take advantage of it. The majority of people get it for bragging rights because it makes for a cool buzz word when they talk about their car. Saying you have a turbo just isn’t nearly as cool as saying you have a twin turbo. But then again the majority of people who get twin turbo aren’t as frugal with the costs either. They are willing to pay a premium because they want to have the best. But if you are not that kind of person and just want a nice affordable turbo setup the cost to performance ratio the turbonetics system offers the best value I think while still providing very good performance that will satisfy the majority of people. Granted it will not perform like a twin turbo system but I think that it would be close enough to where you would not notice any difference under normal circumstances. The APS setup also weighs almost twice as much as the turbonetics setup which is something to take into consideration as well. I do not own an FI Z yet, but a local guy here has one with the turbonetics kit on it and I think it’s awesome. When FI becomes feasible for me that is the system I plan to go with. I am not a subject matter expert or anything but I have been saving my coins and doing research on FI kits for a while now and this is my honest opinion and answer to the question.

So in other words the term ‘best kit’ is relative to how much you are looking to spend and how far you plan to go with it…

The best kit is in the eye of the end user and their goals both short and long term. There are several factors that come into play when going F/I.
Is the kit "truely complete" , meaning was it designed to give you performance without the addition of all kinds of bells and whisltles.
Is the performance what you expect or need?
Is it the best dollar for HP value for your money?
Is the fit and finish good, is it what you paid for?
Does the kit allow you to improve in the future if you decide to?
Is the kit proven to be reliable?

These are a bunch of things you have to look at when deciding what is the best kit for you. In the end it all comes down to personal preference and what in "your" eyes is the best kit..

Good answer. Next, the consumer has to understand those points you outlined above and hopefully they selected a good dealer/installer to lead them thru that process.

With the TT's you can but it will not flow very well and limit your hp considerably. At least get some test pipes and you should be fine...
