Default Problem With APS TT Kit

Hi,

I got a 2004 350z, i've installed the APS TT kit 4 days ago. Everything was fine until today. Now the car idles horrible. It cant hold idle when i let it off from 2500+rpms or depress the clutch and the car dies. Also it doesn't boost more then 2 psi. Checked all the lines and hoses and there are no leaks. The turbos are also fine. I'm suspecting from the unichip and the selenoid that came with it but i'm not sure. Any ideas?

BTW, I've already resetted the ecu and did all the learning tricks in the right order more than once.

nope i checked it many times and there is no leak. Is Maxing out the MAF common with out of the box APS TT kits?

Also how can i solve this situation?

also, the car drives and revs normally (but slower of course) so i guess it isn't in limp mode.

I don't think the MAF has anything to do with maxing out. You are probably referring to the TN setups which rely on the reflash. The APS setups utilize the unichip EMT

Silvermania - it may also help you to post over at 350zmotoring.com. APS frequents those boards as they have been banned from here. Zivman over there might be able to help you out as well. He may even chime in here any moment

If you can't hold an idle you most likely have a vacuum leak. the fact that you aren't boosting beyond 2 lbs is also a good sign you have a leaks somewhere

my buddy had the same thing happen on his, it could be any of the couplers coming off but check the one that comes up from the IC, where the stock airbox used to be, he always had trouble with that one. let us know what it turns out to be.

i would still go over all the couplers again to make sure something wasn't missed.

Because they were being too cheap and wouldnt support this site for a measly amount of money that they could have easy paid for to be a site sponser. In turn this site was a vehicle they used to sell a lot of their products for free.

Big mistake on their behalf. Had they dropped a couple bucks and got their banner placed up top there they probably would be as big if not a bigger name than Turbonetics around here.

There are other forums on the net that they frequent. I would consider it My350Z's loss rather than APS'
