Darton Sleeved Blocks
DARTON SLEEVES $1050.00 shipped
Stage I Darton Sleeved Block: VQ35 Many production cast iron and aluminum blocks suffer from a design weakness of cylinder stability by nature of poor support at the upper deck area. The manufacturing process of "cast in sleeves" provides for economy of scale in low horsepower engines, but does not accommodate high horsepower, high boost, or larger bore sizes. The enhanced water flow in and around the flange area is possible because of ported water flow control engineering called "swirl coolant technology". There is a different engineering model for each engine and cylinder design. While heat is generally considered to translate into energy, high resident heat in the combustion chamber can lead to detonation, the single highest cause of engine failure in the high horsepower regimes. High RPM normally translates into efficient scavenging of air-flow but during misfires or incomplete flame propagation, high cylinder pressures and temperatures are created. Our MID (modular intergraded deck) compensates for this high resident heat soak condition.
Includes:
- Supply Darton M.I.D. Kit
- Installed Darton Sleeves
- Blocks unfinished, not ready for assembly
- Requires final machining steps prior to assembly
- For the enthusiast or machine shop that wants to finish block to their own specs.
- Core required ($1500 refunded after core is received)
Stage 1 (part number - VT 101)
normally: $2500
YOUR PRICE: $2250

Yes we do offer a warranty, which is the same as the warranty from Darton themselves. The Warranty is for Manufacturer's defects, and NOT for incorrect installation. We have been installing the sleeves in the VQ blocks for over a year, and have not had one problem yet. We started using them in the Pro Car, and took that same technology used to mount and fastent them and have applied it to street driven vehicles. Yes it is expensive to do things right. But if you would rather do it twice... be my guest...lol. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask...
Thanks Again,

I've been watching your site for a while...
Not to cause a
but what sets your engine build apart from what SGP offers?
Also... I have my own pistons/rods, will you build around what I supply?
(aries extream duty 9/1 pistons... Pauter Rods)

I don’t question my doctor when he tells me what prescription to buy, even if the brand name is more expensive than the generic. I trust his ability to make the best decision regarding my health. Vinny Ten is my doctor, and his word is law. I see the amount of love that goes into each and every one of his engines, and the end product speaks for itself (Street Car = 8.33@176mph & Pro Car = 6.63@215mph). An engine is only as strong as its weakest component. It’s important to have faith in what you are buying, and to do so is more difficult than most may think. So before jumping on any band wagons, make an educated decision about the health of your vehicle... I have!

We will not sacrifice quality for price... no matter what. We break a lot of components to see what works the best, and so far we have not cracked a CP piston, or bent a Carrillo rod (1300-2000hp). I know that the parts that I offer are not the cheapest, but then again I sleep just fine knowing that I will not compromise.
