Default BOV for TN kit

I am currently looking at the Greddy RS BOV and the HKS SSQV BOV. I was wondering how each sounds? A flutter or a high pitched sound? Also, would these just bolt onto the location of the original location of the Raptor BOV on the TN kit? Or would I have get custom work to weld it on?

Why? The Raptor sounds better than both of those BoVs.

Wow, everyone is in love with the Raptor. I don't think it's that amazing. I already have it installed on my car.

I love the Raptor BOV! It sounds good. Just perfect...not too loud and pretty noticeable.

+100 I perosnally love the sound of the Raptor. If you want an alternative for that there is the Greddy version which bolt to the flange. (I've never liked Greddy BOV sounds) or you would need to weld a new flange on to use an HKS SSQV, Apexi Twin Chamber, TurboXs, etc.

if it sounds like a turkey then something is not right because mine does't sound anything like a turkey it more of a short but loud whoosh.

That means it's not installed correctly. You should try loosening the bolt on the top of the BoV slightly.

that reminds me, when I get my setup on, I've got to buy a duck call and figure out how to plumb it on to my BOV.

Can't wait to drive up to the local meet and make the car quack in front of all the skittles

on a side note, the turkey sound is probably because the BOV is too tight and causing compressor surge, which is not cool!

I'm gonna put a duck call on mine.

The Raptor sounds mean. Keep it.
