I'd suggest a 10,000 mile break-in period to ensure the flux capacitor is well seated in the warp drive before I put the hammer down...

im not sure about all that nonsense, but i believe your just supposed to break in the new turbo. I have nothing specific, but just let some oil flow through it for a little while to lube up the bearing.

The previous nonsense aside, you should run it easily for the first couple/few hundred miles. Sniff for gas [leaks]. Look for excessive [exhaust] smoke. Check for loose connections. Check the engine oil level. Verify components in the engine bay have been well-protected from heat, especially your A/C hose. Familiarize yourself with the new turbo sounds/sensations. Do you have gauges? What are they reading? Are they operating in the nominal ranges? Be patient, and give yourself a chance to settle-in before you accelerate hard.

Once your break-in is complete, go get a good, safe tune. Have fun, but no nonsense, OK?
