Want to see Stock v. Forged Dynos
I have been interested to see a a comparison of two 350z with similar number. One with forged internals and low compression and one with stock internals and therefore stock compression. Assuming that the mods to the car are about the same and the turbo kit is the same I would be interested to see if there is more area under the curve on the stock motor due to the high compression. Just toying around with some ideas. It seems that some most people are able to achieve mid 400 whp on stock internals so I have just been toying around with the idea of higher than 9.0 (low comp pistons from arias) compression pistons. Maybe a set of forged pistons and rods that have the same compression as stock so that you can use higher octane gas at the track in order to make over 500 whp safely (assuming a good tune) and can have the fun of a high compression turbo engine on the street.
So if anyone can post some dyno graphs of similar Z's one with a stock engine and one with a built engine that would be awsome just for comparison. Thanks

The difference i've seen from a average non built to a built TT setup is that after 5000 rpm, the torque curve becomes flat for built but for non-built it drops off. Its like a upside down parabola for the non built and..uhh square root of X if you know what tha tlooks like for built.

Too make this post not completely useless, my non-build dyno can be seen here http://mp-racing.net/gallery/350z/dynograph The torque slowly tapers down, but i would say it is more like a linear function rather than an upside down parabola
