I've been reading different threads about SC/TT kits some of ya'll are using, mostly Greddy TT/Stillen SC, but no one has mentioned HKS's Rotrex SC kit which I'm pretty intrested in. This seems like a nice setup, while it only makes about 80 additional HP, I'm looking to install myself so any feedback would be helpful, Thank's.
If I heard it correctly, HKS stopped making SC for Z a few months ago back... They are coming out with TT kit though... If you really want it I'm sure one of the sponsors might still have one in stock...

The HKS Rotrex is a great kit for anyone who wants a simple, install and forget about it 80hp+ gain. Here is a link with a small writeup on some HKS Superhcarger kits we've installed:

The kits are currently on back order, and will be available again soon.
Hope this helps,

Nothing is set in stone...and there needs to be testing of the units for US spec cars.

Damn and it has'nt really been out that long, as far as turbocharging, yes I prefer it but I do my own work so I'd like something more installer friendly, thanks for all replies.
today i got to hear a vortech kit on a 350z that used to have cherryblosums all over the car, forgot the guys name but it was loud but not as loud as i thought it would be you may want to look into a vortech? As for the HKS kit that kit looks so nice and you cant really hear the thing at all untill you get on it but it is a little$$$ for the power that you get with it.I hear that you can get bigger pullys for it but not positive.

The HKS is the way I'm going. I plan on upgrading the fuel system, adding a UTEC, gauges, and then add the SC as a tuner kit. I like the fact that it doesn't use the engine oil and doesn't make as much noise as the others. With an auto and stock engine ~60-80hp sounds about right to me.

who is your "buddy" from HKS and where is he getting his bogus info from?
I'm sure glad Will Pwr is on here to set the record straight now and then.
