i just finished helping my friend install a procharger kit on his 2003. i personally did the wiring for his DFMU. he bought the kit and DFMU used.

has anyone heard of one going bad? the unit is getting 12V for power, 12 for ignition, ground, and has a line to sense boost. however, the auxiliary fuel pump is not turning on. we tested it separately with a battery and the fuel pump does turn on. i am getting absolutely no voltage out of the DFMU "pump" terminal.

ATI sells a "refurbish" kit which would make it seem like these fail often. luckily, we live in Kansas City so we should be able to get a replacement unit on monday. we're trying to get it wrapped up so he can put some miles on the new clutch before it goes to the tuner.

any ideas guys about the FMU failing?
