I remember you were stressing on the time you needed for the install and you were pressed for time...

WB O2 sensors will fail, if they do (and this is more likely tp happen prematurely due to an incorrect sensor install), at startup. Third, you only need to use the auto-afr tune function during tuning, and not full time. While oyu are tuning, you'll be stairing at the datalogger screen, and it will obvious if your AFR is off (like, reading 7.6AFR, same as 0volts). If it is, just don't go into the predetermined range of 80%+ of throttle opening, and the AFR feedback is not even activated. There are MANY safeguards. The actual controller portion of the Innovate! LC-1 is all state-of-the art, solid state device, and is no more likely to fail than EU (or for that matter ANY EM device) itself; in fact, it's far less likely, as it's a significantly simpler device than an engine management solution.

That clears things up a little. I understood the auto a/f tune always be active and keep the car within a specified a/f range. I have two widebands. An AEM which I know is not as good as the Innovative and the PLX-R500 which is the one I have connected to the EU. I know that PLX-R500 is superior to the AEM so I guess I shouldn't worry. Thanks.

GurgenPB-
What's the story on the warranty? Are they going to just replace it without any hassle? I'm interested in eventually moving away from my UniChip, but this is the second EU I've heard about that was defective. Sharif took care of the other one lickety-split!

if you installed larger injectors and a return fuel system(for those of us with the TN kit), what else would you need to configure on this unit before dialing in your desired a/f...or does that matter to the EU?

Just the base airflow adjustment map to scale to the larger injectors...that's all.
