Have you already installed the Nismo thermastat?

I would do that and a bigger radiator before worrying about another fan.

Actually slim fans are a good idea if you plan to upgrade the radiator. For instance the Koyo radiator is a VERY tight fit with most turbo kits. I wish Flex-A-Lite would hurry up and make an application specific fan setup for the Z. Mike do me a favor and call Flex-A-Lite Tech support and log a request. A while back when I called they said they were logging every call to determine demand and bump it up on the priority list. I'm sort of waiting as long as I can to do a bigger rad in the hopes they make something like that. If not I'll just get some generic Slim Lines like the ones you are looking at and make them work.

I really think a bigger rad is unnecessary, that's why I'm looking at high flow slim fans. Wire a switch to leave 'em on while the car is off or idling, and you've got a great way to cool the IC and radiator.

I'll try callin them later today and see what they say.

If you saw the stock radiator removed from the car, you might think otherwise.... It's quite small. I am sure there is some science behind it, but I feel much more comfortable with the Koyo.
