Talking new tune DYNO (((((PICS-DYNO VIDEOS))))

Well anyways guys after I fixed the overboost issues I got my car tuned because before the car would loose power around 4500rpms because it couldnt be tuned up top with the overboost. The pic is blurry but you can see the curve pretty well I made 374whp and 370wtq

videos of a few runs (I make an alarm go off on one run LOL)

Nice numbers, congrats. Your exhaust sounds sweet, I love that deep sound the turbo makes on the Z, didn't care for my exhaust sound with my NA set up but now I love it.

Just out of curiousity, what gear did you do those pulls in? Whatever gear you did the pull in seemed to go by really fast.

Any reason car wasn't dyno in the 5th gear for an MT and 4th gear in AT since it's close to the 1:1 gearing ratio?

Because shops like to run in lower gears cause it puts less wear/strain on their roller.

thats another reason why chassi dynos are very accurate and personal the best! No traction issues envolved, and shows straight power sae corrected

That will be kinda lame reason doing that. What's the purpose for having an dyno then? To dyno how much a bone stock prius put down at the wheels so their roller will last longer? LOL

i see no purpose in doing a dyno in another gear that is not your 1 to 1 or close to your 1 to 1. The purpose is to see your power correct but nice numbers

They don't tell you that's why they want to dyno in 3rd and 4th, but that is why. Most could really care less how much power you put down or if you're in the right gear.

To the OP: good numbers, sorry if the thread got a little off track.

Numbers would increase, 3rd gear basically has no room and the ratio is not close to 1:1, in 5th I predict you will make 385whp

no actually these are my before dynos:
you see how the power drops after I boost spike. My tuner could not tune after that due to safety.

This is the tune I got on saturday I made 374whp and 370wtq I decided to have it tuned after I put on the fix pipe so that I could get power all through the rpm band

boost was at a rock solid 8psi
AFR at idle I am at 15.1 and at WOT 11.5 all the way through
