APS TT installed! Results inside (PICS/VIDS)
First of all I would like to thank Japtrix for doing such a clean install down to every detail. The crew over there Roger, Roger and Gus are just great people. During the install Gus gave me daily updates on the install with pictures that kept my anticipation in check. I highly recommend if your in the southeast area and need any FI work done on your Z give Japtrix a call.
Another big thanks to Zilvman (Aaron) for helping me out so much with my questions in private.
Now to the Dyno:
Japtrix gave me a nice conservative tune as I opt for before the install after all said and done it made 385 rwhp and 329 rwtq @ 9.5psi. on their mustang dyno.
So I was interested to see how it would do on a dynojet, so I took it to a local shop. It made:
420 rwhp and 373 rwtq @ 9.5psi Uncorrected
412 rwhp and 368 rwtq @ 9.5psi SAE
Very smooth no signs of problems, the power was constant in both runs, and the dyno tech was very impressed with the tuning as my A/F hit 11.3 to redline. All in all I was pretty happy with those numbers.
Heres a Video of my run:

Heres a comparison of my stock run almost a year ago overlayed with my TT runs. Both done at the same dyno:
A couple pics I took:
Don't worry about the bumper I have the full ings kit I'm going have painted and installed.
Finally heres a small video I took on the way back from picking it up from Japtrix, nothing special. But you can definately hear the APS 3" duals mated with the 3.5" downpipes. I'll try and take some good videos this weekend:

My impressions? all day on my face! I can't stop driving this thing, I know I need to stop, but its like having a new Z all over again.
Let me know what you guys think.

Wow, congratulations...I'm def jealous I also wanted to say that Japtrix is an awesome company to deal with. I've purchased some of their exhaust components and was very happy. Can't wait to see the car when its done w/the full kit

Glad you are happy with the results, that 3.5" TP and 3" exhaust is insane, the boost builds so quickly and higher than the ones with 2.5 we had to dial back the boost quite a bit on the unichip.
Can't wait to see the finished product.

Nice job Chris. Exhaust sounds good. Now you just need to get some paint on the that bumper/kit.
I need to get you those pics we talked about. I didn't have time yesterday, but rest assured I will get them. I had to take my new Xterra through the mud a little bit. I might pull my car out of storage this weekend

Nice....glad that everything is going good with it.
Although I'm a little suprised at the power output on a dynojet on 9.5psi with the 3.5 in. TPs and 3 in. exhaust. I would have guessed it would be around 440-450, even with the conservative tune. Do you know how much timing the japtrix tune pulled?

I miss FI.
That sounds amazing Chris. Congrats
I do have one question though. Why is your peak torque so much lower than other comparable setups? Anyone feel free to answer...Is it all in the tuning?

Also if you take a look in that 400HP club thread a couple others with the APSTT are putting down about the same numbers as mine. I think the dyno is much more for tuning not numbers. Bring it on the street and lets compare numbers
RIGHT TAURRAN??!!

Also like Chris said we didn't push it, after talking to him I understood he was not a guy hung up on numbers but more on the feel of the car and wanted a faster and safe TT car, we could have have gotten 450+ but it is not my car so I am not going to push it with a customer's car, if the time comes he wants to go higher and run the risk we will be more than happy to oblige, with that exhaust it will be easy to do
