Default Where to put EGT and O2 sensor in TN kit?

Hi Guys, I'm right in the middle of my TN kit install right now, and I'm trying to figure out where the best place to tap for my EGT sensor should be?

I'm also trying to figure out where to put my aftermarket bosch o2 sensor too, would it be adaquate to just use the prewelded bosses at the end of the down pipe? Or should I weld on one closer to the turbine? Seems kinda far to be all the way back there....

Also, sorry if it sounds stupid, if I wanted to vent my wastegate to atmosphere, what can I use to plug the other pipe? or is that going to end up custom? Thanks guys...

The wideband O2 sensor can go in the extra bungs on the downpipe. The EGT should be placed somewhere close to the headers. That being said mine is installed on the feed pipe right before the turbo. As for venting to atmosphere you will need to fab a block off plate for the dump tube.

Most of the first kits had it. Then Turbonetics removed them from design thinking no one wanted them but I told them people were using them for widebands so the started including them again.

Yeah I recently saw a kit that didnt have it welded in the 3rd downpipe, they shoulda never taken it out-whats it cost them another $5 per kit to add in....

Apparentely they got feedack from some shops that they felt it was an unnecessary risk of an exhaust leak. Turbonetics responded to that by removing them from the design. They actually pay exactly the same for pipe production with them as they do without them. It was a decision based on feedback. When I found out I told the Project Manager that more customer wanted them than didn't so they put them back.
