Gauge Pod Install
I got the autometer gauge pod and 2 auto meter sport comp II gauges. When you put the gauges in the pod, the mounting screw from the gauges runs into the factory pillar and the inner mount won't fit inside the inside of the pod. I was hoping to not cut the factory pillar, but maybe I'll have to.
Has anyone else had to cut into the factory pillar to install gauges in a gauge pod?
And how have you guys secured your gauges from the back, from inside the gauge pod?

You dont have to cutt the factory pillar you do have to drill the small holes for the press in plugs autometer sends you. i ran my wires down the side of the piller addon and hare hidden by the dash. i have 3 gauges
Yeah, I know I can run the wires between the two pillars, but the autometer gauge has 2 ~1.5 inch mounting screws extending from the back of the gauge. You have to either cut the screws shorter, or cut into the factory pillar. I'm debating which way to go.
Oh, and Chimmike, got any quarterbacks jumping naked on cars and claiming to be God this offseason?
(From a 5 time national champ to a 2 time national champ, who only won when the 5 time national champ was on probation) Can't wait till labor day. Actually, I can't wait till Coker gets fired and we can get our dynasty back on track.
