just the angle, one kinda points up, the other is pointed slightly down. they just barely fit, and are very dirty at the moment. k&n filters in general filter very well, i've had many for more than a hundred thousand miles, and they are wonderful little products. they clean up so well when you get your little cleaning kit.

I know I can make them fit.
I have some room in there.

can somebody confirm the part number? this one is 9" in height on the summit site...there are others that aren't as big, i assume this is gonna be a tight fit...i found several on ebay for 1/2 as much as summit, with 3" opening, but a different part number (so different height--any other demension that i need to be weary of?)
Thanks

Rolling Thermal Sample Loging Testbed = GurgenPB

Talking about Gurgen - this weekend he was hard at work installing "Bunches of epoxied Thermistors" with 0-5Volt outputs
He is talking 32 channels of sensors - Maybe 28 Channels due to cascading
Inovate units.. At any rate he will be a rolling sensor/testbed with constant logging. Dave O was at MSA Nationals today, but we did not get around to
discussing the "Ultimate Thermal Transfer Testbed".
This form of real world engineering sampleing is now affordable to the masses.

Yes, the prototype car will try the K&N's The foam filters let too much grit in.

There is another KN filter with 3 inch inlet, but not as long as the one aron posted. It's more compact, and fits a little easier. I will order some up, and get part numbers.

Also, I ordered the 4 inch with a taper to it. The 8 inch one pictured above is too long, IMHO, and its going to bump into stuff at the front of your car.
