I had my car SC'd (stage II stillen) and they had to convert the Nismo CAI into a high flow intake since the intercooler displaced the radiator overflow bottle into the left front fender which displaced the CAI. Now I see at the SC sub vendor's web site that it is not recommended to have an intake that takes air from the engine compartment (too much heat?). So I can either go back to the stock intake box or dump the overflow bottle? Any thoughts? Is it dangerous to have a high flow intake with a SC, or do i just lose power from the hot air?
