I think the Koyo slim rad and a custom made shrout out of aluminum with a pair of 1300cfm fans would create an excellent cooling system, combined with vented hoods, etc.

I also think it would be good if someone were to custom make a set of bottom trays from sheet metal to create a low pressure area at the rear bottom of the engine compartment. This would be extremely beneficial to those who are turbocharged as well!
So stock is 3.5-4" thick,
Flow at 3000 CFM officially (1500 CFM by your estimates),
.....How about height and length?

Once we know, then we can see what is out on the market that would fit in its place.

naw I meant for the size the should flow 3k. but I doubt they do.

I'd be willing to bet combined they're around 1400cfm

tomcat, are you running a 50/50 water wetter and distilled? I've been seriously considering that move once the built motor is done. Since i live in FL currently, the car will NEVER see freezing conditions for long enough to cause harm.

It doesn't expand like water and you can run a low pressure system and since the boiling point is much higher, vapor has little to no chance of happening.

Yes you have to completely flush the coolant. 3 gallons should be enough but I would buy 4 just to be safe.

Actually water wetter is just a small little bottle, it's more like 95% water and 5% water wetter.

I currently still have about 20% of coolant in there as well and so far so good. If the summer gets too hot I'll change to only water and water wetter or maybe try out that evans stuff...

If you live in warm climates, I would ditch standard antifreeze all together, and run distilled water and water wetter or royal purple ice. This will improve your cooling system's capacity, and improve the thermal transfer of heat from the block, into the cooling system. Good stuff.

I know what it is, lol. I've ran it in the past 4 cars I've owned, except I've only put a bottle in and not actually mixed half and half for the full coolant system.

As Sharif said, I've been thinking of doing the full 50/50 mix, distilled and water wetter.

I was actually recommending using distilled water, and just a bottle of two of the water wetter type product. A little goes a long way.

water wetter works best with just distilled water and no antifreeze. but only do it if where you live the winters are warm or pretty mild.

What about a 2-pass double row radiator and a closed cooling system

We do have a closed cooling system.

Is there any risk of increased corrosion? If so, what can be done to minimize it?

Water Wetter, and Royal Purple have corroson inhibitors and by using distilled water, there is little chance of corrosion.
