how would Dsport know? they only have one guy on this site and I haven't seen him in months.
maybe you can contact the magazine and let them know. maybe they will print a little blurb about them to warn readers.

There are so many other shops with sick Z's and G'z that are much more deserving of magazine exposure (such as GTM's 855whp Z, Injected Performance's 1,000+whp Z, numerous candidates out of Forged Performance, Intense Motorsport's Veilside widebody G35 with the prototype Power Lab ST kit, etc. etc. etc.).
You would think these car mags would do some research first to make sure they are featuring a reputable tuner/builder/shop. They damn well should be doing this. Apparently, the magazine editors are completely ignorant, incompetent, and/or just don't give a sh*t as long as they're selling enough magazines. What a shame and a disservice to the import tuner community.

That car is actually mikes own car. and it also has T.foust on it. I guess he still drives for vrt. But i really don't think that anyone out side this forum knows the 411 on whats been going on.
yeah this is that car that has **** claims that it runs 800whp ...and even when he got called on a lie ...this is BS...it truly sucks for dsport to be lied by mr A to get himself some press... total BS. Definatly i hope on next issue there is a lil article stating what the problem is with vrt...

That photoshoot probably happened months ago guys. Magazine features just don't happen overnight. I wouldn't blame DSport. When my car was shot for Modified back in the day I had to wait 3 months for it to go to print.

Business is business, if you pay you get to play by a different set of rules then the average joe.
There are a # of different cars on these boards, and I am sure other boards, that are magazine quality. But if you don't know someone in the industry, or are a business that contributes to their revenue, it is Very difficult to get coverage.
That is just my $0.02 of course.

and that you're right about what's going on with the magazines. Unfortunately, money talks and it is still green no matter who it comes from.
