Default carv2 Tuning

Just want to pass on to members on the mid/north eastcoast about CarV2. They are probably one of the premier tuners in this area. They just got done installing Power Enterprise TT on my Z. Their signature quality and detailed work is unsurpassed. Thanks Jay & James for a job well done. Please visit them at Wilmington DE.. www.carv2.com

+1 to everything. They did my APS TT and tuning and their work is unbeatable. I feel lucky to have such a great shop only ten minutes from where I live.

wbanasan- I guess that was your widebody Z that I saw at their shop during the ECZA meet. VERY nice looking car. Congrats!

Just ordered the Turbo XS management and HKS titanium exhaust, should be in couple weeks. Also CArv2 is intalling a horizontal oil catch can at the same time.

I have the UTEC with my kit, also was interested in the horizonal oil catch can. Are you using one made for a 240Z or some custom product? What are you going to use for a boost controller, BOV, and did you do the water lines? I have 20K on my PE kit and overall I am happy with it, as this is my DD and it has been relaible. Only real problem has been traction.

I too am thinking of going with the HKS Ti exhaust, I currently have the NISMO with Kinetix HF cats. I tried test pipes wo resonators but it was much too loud for daily use. Please let me know how it sounds with the HKS.

Does this shop have much UTEC experience?

Thanks.

Yes the shop have a lot of UTEC experience. Yes you are right the can is originally design for the silvia. BOV is HKS. At what boost are you running your UTEC?

I have the dual stage boost controller, I had AAM set it for 6 psi for normal driving, and 9 psi for "when needed". I have been running that since the end of December. Before that I was running just shy of 5 psi without a tune of any type. NP.

Power Enterprise TT eh?

Can you guys post some pictures of how that kit looks under the hood? I have always liked that kit the best but never see anyone with it.

Thanks.

Oh and CarV2 is a cool place. I havent had any work done there (yet) but i visited the shop the other day with all the G's and Z's and was very impressed. IF you guys were there, i was the White G35 that pulled in a little late...

Im SURE i saw it. A widebody Z w/TT would not have snuck by me...but im not 100% sure i remember the details.

Do you have pics anywhere? What numbers is the car putting down?

That was a fun day tho for sure...although when the rain came through for like 3 minutes that kinda sucked...everyone had to scramble to close their sunroofs and windows! heh heh
