Anyways, there is another filter I can order, that SHOULD fit perfectly. It is the Vortech SC filter that K&N makes. My only concern with this filter, is that its very short, and it might reduce airflow. I am almost tempted to go back to the Greddy foam filters...$50 or less for the pair. I actually prefer the look of the Greddy foam filter.
G35 vortech filter or the Z filter? The Z one is bigger and should still fit. I know they changed it to where the G35 filter started coming w/ all kits but if you find the # on the older size Z filter it might work

Vortech uses the same filter for both kits now. It is the shorter G35 version, but its included in both 350Z and G35 kits.

You bring up a good point, in that the old 350Z Vortech filter was a little bit longer, and might work better.

Any way you slice it, the standard Greddy filters are looking better and better.

i will work on this in a few weeks or so. i was going to route the tubing so i could just rest the air cleaners on top of the intercooler, but i havn't tried anything yet or really started to plan it.
to bide time, i just sprayed some k&n oil on the greddy filters till i make the switch. better than nothing i guess.

you have to admint one thing about the greddy filter they so are easy to access. I took mine out and cleaned with soapy water in less than 10 minutes. I would hate to have to take the front bumper off or *** with the wheel well to get the filters out like some of the other kits.

Sharif can you purchase a complete greddy air filter replacement, not just the foam part, but the actual filter frames? I would like to have a spare set so I could change them on the fly and clean the spare set at my leisure.
