i almost bought the exhaust from GRD but after i spoke to tuan about the exhaust, he said it was nice but not worth it.

second....dont always rely on the dealers to fix problems, it doesnt work that way, find an installer you trust and build a friendship with, that counts more than anything.

i didnt have any problems with faulty wiring harnesses. i just had the check valve problem which was an easy fix.

One can do a 3" pipe with dual exits I guess...
How bad would be to run it with stock one?

you could do that. you could buy 2 hks universal mufflers, then have the 3" pipe fabricated. it doesnt have to go very far because the downpipe with the kit goes pretty far back.

Or take a stock exhaust and replace the pipe with a 3" segment and retain that barrel with twin exits.
Maybe replace the tips with the whistling ones... Woot! Woot!

if youre gonna go thru the trouble of getting the midpipe fixed, you need to ditch the muffler too, its pretty restrictive.

I just got rid of the Injen TD and went back to stock b/c of the noise. I am afraid that the dual HKS muffler setup will be too loud...

even my 3" straight single with the resonator cut out, isnt very loud, the turbo acts as a silencer.

to keep the boost from tapering, do what i did.
get the exhaust from APS and then ask JoeDirt to tell you where he got the replacement wastegate actuator ($75 or so) that now allows me to hold 8psi to redline.
