Question TT hp mods affect reliability?

I read alot of stuff and i come to agree that (almost) all TT setups make around 400whp. My question is with the Z's stock internals going high boost is dangerous, but if i were to TT then mod the hell out of everything else, high flow race pipes, intake plenum (kinetix, crawford) lightened flywheel and crank pulley, bigger injectors, flashed or mapped ECU, I mean the whole nine, but retaining stock internals would say 450+ streetable, reliable and safe horsepower be achievable?

Yes. Seach more, but you'll have to weed your way through all of the threads exactly like this one.

Yea it could be done but always remember this more horsepower more wear on the motor. It all depends on how long you r planning on keeping the stock internals. The key to have that power level on the stock internals to last you is 1) perfect tune and 2) not running lean always have extra fuel its always better to have more n be safe then less n be sorry.

BTW dont beat up on the car everyday cause if not the first month you'll be missing all your pistons.

Thumbs up

so as a better safe than sorry senario, i should take all the money that would go into all the mentioned plus perfect tuning and just build the bottom end. this seems like a better way to go in the long run. just wanted an experts opinion, which isnt mine

I have had two TT Z's and there is no way I would put the TT on the stock motor. There is no reason to run the chance. I know people who have blown built motors, so just build it and enjoy it. If you build the motor for more power than you will ever want, then you know you are always safer than the guy who built his motor for exactly what he is running. IMO.

will you ever learn how to search for something? Just wondering because you can read the first page of the modifications threads and get the answers to 99% of all your questions.

Go back to your Neon forum or where ever you came from.

I am running a stock motor with all the suporting mods. Look at my sig and add it up its going to cost you more than $15K with labor not including a motor build.
