Default Twin Throttle bodies...

So I have a suggestion for those who have been considering the possibility of twin throttle bodies. Maybe this is far fetched but could you not just use a second ECU. I believe you can get the ECU brand new for about $600 from Performance Nissan or maybe pick up one from a junk yard for say $400.

Then if you used a second MAF (on say the SFR Plenum) and used only three injector signals from each ECU (each recieving their own individual MAF reading) and then made a unit like the UTEC recieve each of those three signals from each ECU you could tune it. Correct me if I am wrong but this seems like a viable option for twin throttle bodies.

Please give your input.

the other ecu would go haywire with just one input, and far to complex to rewire everything else to it.
now if you lifted the maf sensor itself out of the housing abit, and shielded it from some of the incoming air, you may be able to figure out the % to change the fuel and timing maps accordingly, and not max out your maf signal. but really, it would be just as hard or harder than doing it like everyone else and tuning after the maf maxes out.

running a second TB off the orginal TB connector has been done. with no change to the ECU. This has been accomplished by using fuel injectors double the stock size.. simple and straight fwd way of getting the stock ecu run the engine.. but if someone is going to be using twin TBs it probably would be in an extreme mod setup so i would assume the stock ecu would not be running the engine anymore.
