Switch to a twin turbo.

Just kidding.
Smaller pulley, fuel system upgrades, better engine management. There are a few guys on the forums that made high power on built motors.
If you want something low budget and about 400whp, contact a member named LiNkS and ask him.

I'd first install a quality set of headers like strup, DC, nismo, crawford. If you still want more power, new pully and UtEC, if you still want more, JWT cams, and then if u want more, built engine w/ Ttrim blower +bigger IC + bigger injectors

won't do much. if you want real power like 500+ i say you contact someone on the boards by the name "Booger". I believe he has a built motor, T trim blower as wellas a bigger i/c. hes up there in the HP range.
You can also swap to a 3.9 FD which will give you a 10% boost in acceleration (not power)

Headers and breathing mods are the first thing I would do . Then you can go to a smaller pulley [ 3.12 ] will add around 25whp . The [2.78] pulley will get you another 25whp . Some claim much more than that . The 3.12 pulley can be run safely on the stock kit . But when you go to the 2.87 , it can be run on the fuel system , but I would think about going with a upgraded fuel system . And lastly , you can go to a different EMU for more control of the timing and fuel to gain a few more WHP

im running 400 wheep hp at just under 8 psi. Mods are vortech with 3.12 pulley, dc sport headers, test pipes and borla td exhaust, tuned by cpracing. i guess i had some belt slipping when the new pulley was put on or something but now im hitting between 9 and 9.5 psi. I havent re-dynoed but hoping to very soon. one day i'll jump down to the 2.87 and also a nice return fuel system. I would honestly like to get just under 500 hp but i know i'll need a few more mods. Plenum being one of those, cam's wouldnt hurt as well.

XAV, all u need are headers, test pipes, and a plenum spacer or the intake plenum itself, then if u want more gains, go for JWT cams. This is what i have done. I hit around 400 whp with stock boost

If you want some good headers I would look at the Crawfords. He just came down on the price too.

I know there's been debates here on headers before but I can't remember who with ... from what I understand (not speaking from experience) is that headers will only gain you 2 - 3% gain hp for a very high cost. Just my $.02

Headers will only get you a little (if anything) on an NA car, but once you go Supercharged... "you're gonna want those headers"
- Bruce Dickinson

I would definilty recommend going with JWT cams. I they'll get you a pretty substantial gain w/out having to run more boost. That was the route I took. Praying for a stock motor that will last me a long time, be problem free, and smog legal.
