Will I beat this Supra?
I will be installing a TN ST kit within the nearest future, and I've found a Supra MKIV around here that will race me.
I will be running 380-400whp on my 04' 350Z w/ MT, 100% stock Track model, stock wheels, no sub or any extra stereo..
The Supra:
It's a somewhat BPU I think. I has the following:
HKS EVC Boost controller
HKS FCD
HKS FMIC
HKS 3" exhaust
HKS Airfilters
He's running 18.4 psi and makes 360whp. It's an auto tranny. He runs bigger wheels and some stereo. The car weights 3700 with a full tank of gas.
How will the race turn out from a roll, or from dead stop? (with equally skilled drivers)

Honestly if everything your saying is true, you should be able to smoke itl. 1 its a auto, little power for that much boost, You will hit 400whp alot quicker than he will 386. From a dig and a roll you will win guaranteed. (get a better clutch, and tires.)

How is your suspension set-up and what kind of tires are you running?
If he has drag radials and running 11 psi in those tires, the auto tranny with soften drap suspension, he will smoke you.
Your power level will be fine, it is your traction you need to be concerned with. If I have 700 WHP and NO TRACTION and he has 400 WHP with a true drag set-up, he will even kill me if my car is set-up for roadracing with negative camber, stiff suspension, and when I am running my street tires.

Reality check, I am 49 and no matter what car I drive, I am invisible to hot looking girls. It is going to take a lot more than a good looking car to change my mojo!
If someone really enjoys driving a nice car like a 350Z for the driving experience, they should own one. If they think it is going to get you laid, they got issues IMO. They should try working out, working on their personality or something.
