I heard that the filter is a total BIATCH to install. Dont you have to take off the supercharger bracket?
It will really depend on the car. Some say to take a Dremel and shave off some of the front plastic support right in front of the filter and it will come out. This works for some guys and does not for some others. It did not work for me. I decided to relocate my filter by adding some 90 degree IC pipe and a silicone hode adapter. For more info on this, do a search for Vortech air filter relocation. There have been a handful of guys who have relocated their Vortech filters(or added a K&N) with this method.
Thanks for the replies. I actually just ordered one directly from Vortech. Since I have a G, I may have some room to play with. I'll have to dremel the front plastic support but it may be ok.
