Default Zeitronix LCD monitor and data logger discrepencies

I just got done data logging with my zeitronix. The maximum boost I hit on the datalogger on my laptop was 11.7psi, but the zeitronix LCD monitor's peak boost was recorded at 12.4psi. What's up with this?

The boost rises a little just as you let off the gas and the throttle plate closes . This will show up on the monitor when you push the button to see peak boost . Dont fret it

was that just one quick run, like 10 seconds or so?

i'd guess that you're not seeing the 12.4psi, but that it's most likely on the datalog somewhere. was that a chart or all numerical log?

It was the zeitronix chart.
I made 2nd-3rd-4th run, and 4th gear run from 2500rpm to 6000rpm sort of like a dyno run.

On my 2nd-3rd-4th gear quick "drag" run, the highest boost I saw was 10.5psi. Boost didn't taper down much at all. Boost stayed at 9.5-9.8psi throughout the rpm on all 3 gears.

On my 4th gear "dyno" run I hit 11.7psi and tapered down to 10.5psi on the chart. Not bad at all.

AFR was around 11.5. Pretty darn good... The unichip isn't tuned at all.

I have a custom dual N1 style exhaust, which looks similar to the AAM or APS 3" dual.

A hint on the Zeitronix I learned being at 5500 feet altitude. Without starting your car, turn the key on and let the Zeitronix unit "warm up". What is the "Boost" reading is being shown? The closer you are to Sea Level you will see readings closer to "0.0". In Albuquerque, I start at "-5.5". When viewing I then must add my startup reading to my boost reading under WOT.

I should go look right now, but I'm in South korea, which is surrounded by sea.. So, I'm guessing I'm at sea level.

Lived in South Korea for 17 years. Be interesting to see what numbers you show on the Zeitronics "Warm Up" before you start your "Z".

I had the same problem with the zeitronix, it would show close to 12.4psi as well when I know the car wasnt hitting that. The EGT's would read crazy at times too

What you are experiencing is weird.. What's more weird is that I'm seeing two different numbers from the same company products.... Zeitronix LCD monitor and the datalogger software don't agree... Oh well, I'm going to install the boost controller just as you.. What brand do you have Tig?
