Default Shielded Crank Angle Sensor Wire - Feedback

Was wondering if we could hear from those people who purchased the shielded crank angle senor wire from phunk.

Have any of you had an catesosphic engine failure that might be linked back to the scattered ingnition problem that the wire was try to prevent?

Just trying to gauge if the wire did its job.

Thanks

I got it at the time, as it was a big deal then and I just happened to be installing the turbo. My motor is still alive and kicking and is running great. I don't think it really made a difference, and since then it seems that it might have been an issue with certain piggyback systems rather than the stock wire itself. Who knows...

thousands of boosted and abused miles without it. same with my local customers... I dont think I have installed one on any Chicago cars, just one car that I built where a guy wanted one just in case. scattered ignition timing is a legend IMHO.

since the big rush, i sell about 1 every 12 weeks now... i still tell people i dont think its required, but i guess its cheap enough insurance. This year I am doing a lot of cool wiring changes in my car so I figured I will put one in when that time comes.
