Default Engine damper vs solid motor mounts?

Reading the solid motor mount thread below, I realized I need either the engine damper or the solid motor mounts because my APS ST pipe hits firewall during hard accel. So which one is better choice for me? Which one transfers less vibration? Thanks.

I had the same problem with my APS ST. The engine damp. fixed the issue.

the solis motor mounts do not carry near the vibration you think they would. it really is hard to tell the difference. but install would be easier with the dampner.
