Default Oil Cooler on a APS TT

Is there an Oil Cooler that fits on the a Z with a APS TT?
I've been looking at the stillen but I don't think it will fit based on their instructions.

Anyone have an answer for me?

Since you're local you could try talking to technosquare to get something custom done... just a suggestion

The ARC cooler fits...

I saw one on an APS TT at Fuji Speedway, for the Nismo Festival, the lower lip to the front bumper was cut out and the cooler mounted behind.

Looked

Do a custom one yourself. It's not that hard and way cheaper.

I agree. We built one using a fluidyne cooler and mounted it on the passenger side of the front bumper, and created some ducting/diverters in the bumper to make sure enough air gets in there.. Appears to work well for me.

BamBam, did you manage to get it somewhere that has good airflow??? as the IC does take up just about all of the room on the front grille. Any chance of a picture??

I have the Visage Type A front bumper so I have a few extra holes on the sides of the main intercooler scoop.

In the pic, the areas on each side, have aluminum diverters to push that air into the coolers on the left (oil cooler) and right (power steering) sides of the bumper. They might not look like much, but positioned right behind the open scoops and fastened to the bumper and they force the air over the fluidyne cooler.

From personal experience, its not really any cheaper, BUT, you pretty much have to go custom since you have an intercooler in the way. The nice thing about custom is you know it fits and you can choose the best components.

Isn't that thing like $4,000,000,000,000,000.97 plus shipping?

That ARC one is freakin' awesome!

But yeah, I'd like to know my options as well. Sounds like custom is the only way to go? I want to keep my front bumper stock.

thanks for the input
The Stillen one is about $400 I can live with that especially since they make quality products. Since there are at least 2 people here that got it working, I probably will go that route, just need to find some instructions

what oil temps are you seeing per your driving habits.. unless you are pushing the car hard on the track you may not need it.. if you do need one would suggest doing your own kit, reccomend the picking up a low height but wide Earl's oil cooler core and a sandwhich adapter (with built in thermo if its a daily driver) and mounting it like i did but a bit higher, does not need to be as low as i went.. i will be moving the oil cooler a bit higher later on..

as far as 2,000 for the arc, yeah way too much.. i sure did not pay that.. but quality parts and perfect for what i do with my Z, no thermo is exactly what i needed.. i just let the car warm up before driving it to the track
