That's a perfectly reasonable price for a supercharger. Certainly a better option than a turbo if you're on a budget. But having to get a new hood is bad.
Plus $1,000 for the hood. So now it's $4,800 PLUS installation and hood painting. That brings it to about $5,800. Add shipping and you're at $6,000 for this supercharger. Not so great after all is it.

for the price of sc hood and exhaust....i think i would rather just wait for the twin turbo kits to come out...i heard, im not sure though, that the final version of the stillen sc wont need hood modification any comments on that?
actually vortech is working on a car right now and their kit would be right at 4grand usually and require no hood. you would only need an exhaust to help it flow better.

i guess i shouldn't have implied it but said that they are working on one and have a 350z in there to be looked at also. since it's centrifugal and not your standard eaton based blower they can mount it in serveral different locations. just giving everyone a heads up before they waste money on this.
