please, search a little or look at the few hundred repetitive threads about this already. Thanks!

driving a TT and driving an ST are two different animals. Alberto isn't especially an excellent driver with slicks/radials on an ST vs. me or Taurran or most other TN ST guys. I ran a 12.5 on street tires with 30psi pressure, and Taurran ran a 12.3 on the same tires but 19s vs my 18s and he was running 20psi of air pressure.
TT cars are more difficult to control......but it's obvious that the 440whp TT guy is faster because his trap is in the 120s.

I'm on stock clutch for now, and I've had no issues. Rumor has it that early 03's have higher clamping force on the stock clutch, but I've yet to hear much more on it. Mine seems to be holding 400whp just fine.
I'm pretty sure Alberto is running the JWT combo.

i.c yeah thats what i though if it was a kit that they were going to take out th motor ten yeah i wouldnt see it being a big problem but since the T.N kit does not require u to take out the motor then im sure it would be extra.
The ST kits were made to be installed with the motor in. Nowdays, any experienced installer will install all the TT kits with the motor on the car. Pulling the motor to drop in any FI application on the stock block is pretty much a thing of the past.
Just figured I'd like to give a little input since I've tracked my JWT TT a few times this year...
Alberto is right, not too many TT owners are gonna come here to talk about their high 12 / low 13 ETs.
I will.
Last night was my third time ever at the track. My best run yet is a 12.7@111 with a 1.9 60' and 87mph at the 1/8 mile. This is with 384whp/338tq @ 6.8psi on Nitto 555Rs. A lot of the reason that I'm having trouble getting a lower ET is because of my Tilton clutch--it's either on/off and you can't really slip it at all. I either peel out all the way through 2nd or bog really bad. (yeah, I need more practice--simple as that)...I also need to explore getting a 3.3 final drive--I hit the rev limiter in 4th gear every single time with about 300ft to go--not enough time to shift into 5th. I know my trap could be a little higher--maybe 112-113.
All I'm trying to say is, out of the box, I'm happy, but there is always room for improvement
One of the biggest things that I like about the JWT TT setup is the low psi that the out of the box tune is set to--6.8psi. I think it's one of the better kits as far as amount of power produced at such a low psi. On a non-built engine, this also eases my worries (a little bit) of throwing a rod.
I'm not trying to be biased against any other kits at all--I'd love to own a ST setup as well. For the amount of money you put into a TT setup, you could put the same into a ST setup--yet end up with even more power. Everything has it's advantages/disadvantages.
One thing that I do encourage you to do though is to get an exhaust and test pipes with your turbo setup. You need to make the exhaust more free flowing to get those EGTs down. If you're going to get the JWT TT kit installed, go to a shop that has at least done a dozen installs of this particular kit...The reliablilty is determined by the success of the install.
Hope this helps your decision process.
