Those guys were good people to me. Bought my ECU and some parts from them for my RX7 a few years back. Though I did get to watch them blow their shops RX7 motor on the dyno when it was making a little more than 600whp, that was fun.

Car looks great though, and good luck with the belt issues.

Looks good Derek . From the pics , it looks like they made all the pulleys for the motor cog pulleys . Is that how they did it ? Hard to tell what they did with the bottom pulley thet connects to the crank pulley

Looks good man. its good to see someone taking another route and making big power with a SC. It doesn't seem like tighting the belt would be a big deal for a hands on person, but for those that do not like hands on projects, I can see why they would complain about having to tighten the belt.

Smile Hey Derek - That's the right FIX

Excelent Derek....

You got the right insight of how the Stock kit was "not Correct" in Pulley and Belt Alignment..

Very Clever.. Now go sell it.... Not to Vortech but as a way to fix the
Belt alignment issue for all the Members that have suffered....

Cheers Amy -

At least someone know how to use a straight edge...

Update: Man this project is never going to end! The car is currently at GT Motorsports being tuned by Sam. GTM also installed an HKS Knock Amp Meter, HKS Navigator and Carbonetic 1.5 Way LSD.

Here's a couple pics of the Carbonetic(Across USA) Triple Carbon Clutch and DBA Rotors that will be installed when I get the car back along with DSS Axles.

I saw your car at GTM when I picked up mine. I love your roll bar it looks, so nice and stealth.
Are you going to be ready for IDRC next weekend?

I just got my tires, the wheels will arrive on Monday, if they fit....and this time they should then I'll be there on Saturday.
I don't have the roll bar in yet though so I'm going to run on low boost to start with.
My buddy Jeff (who won the Fall event) will run his Supra as well and I'm hoping to teach him a lesson...or if I can't I hope you will

Where can I get the spec / diagram of this pulley set up? Is that a COG pulley on the crank?!?! How the heck did you pull that off and is it harmonicaly balanced??

Is this a daily driven "G"? I am looking to get my car up there as well without belt slippage and belt breakage.... Are there any CF or Kevlar belts in the sizes needed?

THANKS!

If I am not mistaken the cog pulley crank is a one off from fluidampr. If I am correct they will not make it for anyone else as it was made as a prototpye to see if it was a viable upgrade for vortech owners. that was what they told me at least.

I dont believe thats true. I have a replacement crank pulley made by ATI and it is a production unit. Both ATI and Fluidamper make harmonic replacement crank pulleys. I have a custom cog pulley that attaches to the ATI crank pulley that was made by Vortech.

Odd post for the FI section, but...where did you get those rotors? Are they for the Track model brakes? What is the part number/price? I'm going to need new rotors soon and those look nice. Thanks.
