Default Vortech with automatic transmission?

hi,

I want to buy vortech supercharger for my 2004 touring z with automatic transmission. here is my questions...

- is the automatic tranny can handle this power? or needs upgrade?

- Anyone use vortech with automatic transmission? (problems,advices...etc...? )

- What is the whp limit with stock automatic transmission?

- Should I make 400 whp with stock transmission?

Go to the FI section and run searches there.... I am going Vortech and I have a '04 Auto "G"

You can hit 400whp w/ auto.

You will want to get a VB upgrade and a TC upgrade. You can handle 400 - 450 on your stock tranny but you will hit the rev limiter a-lot w/ the Vortech and Auto.

Go to the Forced Induction area of this board and start reading

bud since no one else will help.i dont have a vortech but have a stillen stage 4.you will be fine with the vortech, remember the stillen has much more torque down low then the vortech.i have had mine on for over 20,000 miles and no problem.the vortech makes its torque and horsepower much higher in the rpm range,so dont worry you will be fine.
