Default What do you guys think of these gauge choices for my TT?

I live in CA and so I prefer not to buy an A pillar to mount gauges because the first thing the po-pos notice is gauges and intercoolers.

Right now I just wanted a basic air/fuel gauge and boost for the PE kit im buying. I think im going to go with the AEM UEGO mounted in the nav cubby so i can cover it up and then the Blitz Dual DCIV Turbo timer/digital boost controller mounted under the climate controls.

Does anyone have the Blitz Dual DCIV or know anyone that has used it before? It seems like a great idea for me because i prefer digital readouts over actually reading where a needle is pointing to on a gauge. I think it's part of the whole digital clock general thing, most people my age are so accustomed to reading digital clocks that we don't read analog (?) clocks as fast as other people.

Thanks,
Alex

Well i figure if im going to run the same psi i would just verify the initial calculation as being in sync with the kit's rated psi and then if i saw it get significantly higher or drop i'd know to fix a problem.

If i was running a boost controller or different maps and stuff like that i would stick with something straight forward.

If you have a nav screen that will take an aux input you could get the HKS CAMP system. http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?m...gmt&prodid=582

That HKS Camp system is sweet, but i dont have a nav screen and im not looking to spend that much just for a boost guage. If it was compatible with an air/fuel read out i'd consider it.

I'll read into the zeitronix

^Mrtomcat i really like that install! Did you make that plate to go over the cubby yourself? Interested in making another for a price?

Also i would rather keep my oil and voltage gauges, good idea though.

Thanks! I'll definatly call them tomorrow for an order.

What do you guys think is the best boost gauge?

Defi? Apex'i? HKS? Blitz? Autometer? Greddy?

Does it really matter?

Edit: saw some of the new SAGA gauges and they look super nice.
