how come that almost every thread gets hijacked by people bikkering about who got the best turbo kit?

They all have their pros and cons

Can we come up with some kind of rule to not argue this old topic anymore pleeeease unless the thread is labeled as such.

This thread was to give Sharif's shop some credit and he deserves credit without people fighting don't you agree?

Besides we all know aps is the best (sorry I couldn't resist... )

Anyways, congrats on your new kit and congrats to Sharif for kicking ***!

What a load of s*it, a guy comes on here to praise a tuner, and tell us how happy he is with his car..........then it gets turned into a Turbonetics vs APS standoff. Who cares what kit he had fitted/tuned, he's happy with it.

Congrats on the setup mate, good to hear a happy UTEC owner!

We had to dyno the car at another shop due to Sharif not having his dyno just yet ( 8 more days Sharif ). I'm a very highstrung and cautious person so I chose to go with a VERY conservative tune. The car put down 362hp and 371tq and I couldn't be happier Its a dream come true thats for sure.
I would recommend Sharif and Devon to anyone who wants as smooth of a process as possible. Any question or worry you have will be solved by these guys. Best of the best is all I can say. Thanks guys!
Derek
Sweet man, Sharif is the man... And Devon is a super cool guy, and his WRX is nothing to sneeze at either

Yeah when we were looking over your car, I asked Sharif your set-up and goal... When he told me you were looking for a very conservative number I def. understand... Only problem for me is I know what 400 WHP and sh*t load of Trq. down low feels like now, and turning the boost down just isn't going to cut it along with completely changing the Trq. curve LOL.

I am now spoiled

Once again congrats, Sharif and Devon did a very clean install. If only all of us were so lucky

Congrats man, Sharif's an awesome guy to work with. All that matters is that you're happy with Your choice. Just ignore the mindless bickering.

Westpak...Plain and simple, If I wanted a twin turbo set up, I would have bought a twin turbo setup. I'm not power hungry like a lot of other people are. I'm very happy with my car, it's exactly want I wanted, so can we please just leave it at that? All I was doing was getting on here to tell about my experience with Sharif and Devon and a little about my car.

To be perfectly honest, I really don't give a sh*t what anyone else thinks of my car. I'm the one driving it so really its only my opinion that matters. I wanted to post about Forged Performance and let others know that if they are looking to go forced induction and they don't mind the drive or shipping their car, I would highly recommend going there.

It's nice to finally be a part of the turbonetics club. The sound is amazing

Forged Performance=

Man if I had a dollar for every time that someone said they would be happy for XXXwhp I could.......

Congrats on the set up. I hope the whp bug don't bite a few months down the road not that 500whp is something to sneeze at, but you'll always want more..

Listen in Defense of Westpak, whom I have known for years, and happens to be one of the nicest guys I know. I myself have gone back and forth with the single turbo, or twin turbo saga. I think gus was just trying to say that some people originally were going with the TN because it was an affordable alternative to the twin turbo kits out there. Gus was just curious as to what made you decide to go single with all the options that puts the price into the APS range. Although I dont have any loyalty to any set up, After all my research I think that twins are very well mated to the VQ motor. Not to say I wouldnt like the turbonetics if the price was right. But I would prefer the twins if the price was the same.

Haha thats why I posted that after I graduate in December I am gonna build the motor a bit and up the boost Thats the whole reason I bought the things I did. For the most part, they can handle a lot more hp and torque than what I am pushing right now.

Gus (Westpak) is a great guy...talking to him many times in person and on the phone. So is Robert (MIAPLAYA)

I dont think Derek intended this thread as a APS vs. TN kit vs. anything else. I am delighted to have Derek as a customer. When we discussed his project, his number one priority was a SAFE tune, and reliability. Hence, we didnt even install a boost controller.

Officially, he was our FIRST customer install project at the new shop. Thanks Derek, and I am glad you got home safely.

Our dyno arrives on the 15th, so we had to tune Derek's car on a dynojet, with one TINY fan up front. I woudlnt even consider it as a desk fan.
